New Xbox 360 Experience Release Date: November 19, 2008

Almost precisely three years after its launch, the Xbox 360 is releasing The New Xbox Experience, a massive scale launch software update that totally revamps the console with a lot of new features. Although an exact time has not been announced, the update will go live tomorrow, November 19.

You don’t have to do anything to get it, really. The update will download like a normal system one that you are used to. You will see a status bar that indicates how long it will take, and you will not be able to use the console till it is complete. Upon completion of the update process the console will display welcome page, and will allow you to login and start exploring the new features and experiences of Xbox 360.
